Exodus 18:19-21

¹⁹ Now listen to ^[a]me: I will give you counsel, and God be with you. ^[b]You be the people’s representative before God, and you ^(A)bring the ^[c]disputes to God, ^20 (B)then admonish them about the statutes and the laws, and make known to them ^(C)the way in which they are to walk and the work they are to do. ²¹ Furthermore, you shall ^[d]select out of all the people ^(D)able men ^(E)who fear God, men of truth, those who ^(F)hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, ^[e]of hundreds, ^[f]of fifties, and ^[g]of tens.
